The kindergarten of Ladyhill English Higher Primary School celebrated the Mount Carmel feast, the patroness of the school with a special event called "Bloomy Day," embracing the meaning of Mount Carmel as a garden with blooming flowers. The little flowers of kindergarten, along with their teachers, participated in a range of joyful activities.
The day began with a warm welcome extended to the guests by four students—Aadya, Andriya, Emlin, and Khushi—who were beautifully adorned with flowers. These students, along with the chief guest, Mrs. Prathima, the esteemed dance teacher, the Principal Sr Jennifer Moras AC ,Vice-principal Sr. Ivy Moras AC and the teachers, gracefully inaugurated the event.
Various activities were organized to engage the children in hands-on learning experiences. Children showcased their creativity by arranging flowers in artistic manner, using vegetables to create prints, a visit to a nearby garden which allowed children to experience nature firsthand and the Art and Craft corner, which was a hub of activity where children crafted flower-themed artworks, enhancing their fine motor skills and artistic expression.
The event was a great success, providing the children with joyful and enriching experiences. The sight of the little ones immersed in creative activities was heartwarming and highlighted the importance of hands-on learning in early childhood education.
