The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal and enthusiasm at Ladyhill English Medium Higher Primary School. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal, Sr. Jenifer Moras AC, accompanied by Sr. Magdalene AC, Headmistress of Ladyhill Kannada Higher Primary School and the PTA Vice President, Mrs. Sandrich D'Souza.
The students of Class VB organized a grand cultural program to mark the occasion. The event began with a solemn prayer service, followed by a vibrant welcome dance that set the stage for the day’s proceedings. The significance of Republic Day was conveyed through an engaging skit, meaningful patriotic songs and a thoughtful speech, highlighting the values of the Constitution and the duties of every citizen.
A patriotic dance drama depicting the bravery and sacrifices of soldiers stirred emotions and filled the audience with pride and gratitude. The Principal, Sr. Jenifer Moras, addressed the gathering, urging everyone to cultivate a deep love for the country and a sense of compassion for fellow human beings.
Master Ewan Rodrigues and Miss Naomi Lobo anchored the program as the Masters of Ceremony with confidence and grace. The event was graced by students, PTA members, and parents, who actively participated in the celebration. The program concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and unity among all present.
