The students of Class 6A at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School took center stage to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava, showcasing the pride and cultural heritage of Karnataka in a heartfelt ceremony. The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mrs. Kavitha Putran, and the Vice Principal, Sr. Ivy Moras AC, symbolizing knowledge and prosperity. This was followed by a reverent prayer service, where students offered gratitude and blessings for the state of Karnataka, creating a reflective and respectful atmosphere.

The program continued with a vibrant cultural showcase by the students, featuring traditional dances, drama, and musical performances. These acts brought Karnataka’s diverse traditions and rich history to life, captivating the audience with colorful costumes and energetic performances.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Kavitha Putran, in her inspiring address, emphasized the importance of cherishing the Kannada language. She encouraged students to develop a love for Kannada by engaging with it more deeply and suggested that they make reading Kannada newspapers a regular habit to stay connected with the language and its cultural nuances. Her words added a valuable dimension to the event, motivating students to embrace their linguistic heritage.
