On November 14th, our school celebrated Children's Day with great enthusiasm and joy, reflecting the theme "You Are Precious." The event was graced by our esteemed chief guests, SPL Chrislyn Dsouza and ASPL Liyan Fernandes, alongside our beloved Principal Sr. Jenifer Moras and Vice Principal Sr. Ivy Moras.

The celebration also paid tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, whose love for children and belief in their potential led to the observance of Children's Day on his birthday, November 14th. A photograph of Chacha Nehru was displayed as a reminder of his immense contribution to the welfare of children.

The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of the Diya by the SPL, ASPL, Principal, and Vice Principal, symbolising the light of knowledge and the spirit of the children. A touching prayer service followed, led by our dedicated teachers. During the intentions, student leaders came forward holding lit lanterns, symbolising hope and the bright future of our children.

Our Principal, Sr. Jenifer Moras, delivered a warm welcome speech, expressing the significance of the day and the importance of children in our lives. The chief guests were welcomed with beautiful flower pots, adding a touch of nature to the festivities. Tr. Winnie Crasta expertly compered the event.

The program featured a series of delightful performances by our talented teachers. The welcome dance set a vibrant tone for the celebration, followed by an entertaining mono acting and dance performance by Tr. Remya that had the students enthralled. Tr. Lavita Correa dedicated a heartfelt song to the students, celebrating their presence and importance.

A special highlight was a captivating dance performance by Sr. Ivy Moras and Sr. Nishmitha, which was met with loud applause and cheers from the students, showcasing their grace and enthusiasm.

Adding to the entertainment, the teachers performed a lively filmy dance, bringing a Bollywood flair to the stage. The program also featured a fashion show by the teachers, where they represented different states of India, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of our country. Additionally, class-wise lucky games were conducted, and the winners were awarded prizes, adding an element of excitement and cheer to the celebration.
