On October 8 and 9, the Vimallapura Government High School in Kadur Taluk, Chikmagalur district, hosted a volleyball tournament for girls in the under-14 age group. Dakshina Kannada won the competition and qualified for the state volleyball championship. Five Ladyhill English Higher Primary pupils took part in this activity. One student has been chosen to compete at the state level.
