Our school celebrated the 67th Kannada Rajyotsava with vigour and grandeur. Ladyhill English Higher Primary School's celebration of the day reflected the school's love and pride in their state and language.
In honour of the event, the students of grades I AB hosted a meaningful programme, which was conducted entirely in Kannada. The programme began with the lighting of a lamp and was followed by a prayer service. The pupils emphasised the significance of the day. Through dance, songs, and speeches, they highlighted Karnataka's rich culture and tradition. Traditional Karnataka dance forms such as Kolata, Kamsale, and Suggi kunitha were on display. These dances added to the festive mood and the originality of Kannada culture which was worth appreciative. It was nice to observe the students' enthusiasm.
Tr. Rosely, the chief guest, praised the children for conducting the presentation in Kannada and for speaking Kannada so eloquently and precisely. Everyone's mood was improved and their knowledge was expanded through the instructive Quiz and the stunning facts about Karnataka given through the PPT presentation. Her message motivated and urged the young audience to appreciate Karnataka's rich culture and state language, Kannada. She stated that we must aspire to live in oneness as messengers of light and truth.
The event instilled in the audience a sense of pride in being a part of such a rich and dynamic culture. Finally, Nada Geethe brought the show to a close.
