The Apostolic Carmel Management organised an orientation program for the teaching faculty of Ladyhill Institutions on May 24, 2024.
Rev. Fr. Cyril Anand Periera, OFM, a counsellor and an inspiring speaker, served as the resource person. The session was engaging and intellectually stimulating.
The program commenced by invoking God's blessings through a prayer song led by the teachers from Ladyhill English Higher Primary School. Teacher Rita from Ladyhill English Higher Primary School compered the program, extending a warm welcome and introducing the guest speaker. Sr. Violet Tauro A.C., the Joint Secretary of Ladyhill Institutions, presented a floral welcome to the guest, while Sr. Ujvala A.C., the Principal of Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College, honoured the occasion with her presence.
In his distinctive presentation, Fr. Cyril reflected on the vital role of teachers as both educators and moulders of the future generation, encouraging a fresh outlook and approach towards students. He emphasised the importance of embodying the qualities of a good teacher.
At the conclusion of the orientation program, Teacher Bindu from Ladyhill Victoria High School delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Rev. Fr. Cyril Anand Pereira for his enlightening session.
