A vibrant week-long celebration marked Teacher's Day at Ladyhill English Higher Primary School, featuring various events that honored the dedication and contributions of the teachers. The festivities were organized by the school cabinet, led by SPL Miss Chrislynn D'Souza and ASPL Miss Liyan Fernandes, in collaboration with the Parent Teacher Association.
Day 1: Fun-filled Games
The celebration kicked off on 2nd September with fun-filled games, designed to foster teamwork and laughter between teachers and students.
Day 2: Cooking Without Fire
On 3rd September, Teachers took part in a "Cooking Without Fire" competition, where they displayed their culinary skills by preparing innovative dishes without the use of heat.
Day 3: Flower Arrangement
On 4th September, Teachers focused on the artistic skill of flower arrangement. Bright and colorful flowers were creatively arranged into stunning displays, which filled the school with natural beauty.
Day 4: Cultural Extravaganza by the students and Parent Teacher Association.
The grand finale took place on 5th September, with a lively cultural extravaganza in the morning, performed by students from classes 1st to 8th. The event featured a variety of performances, including dances, songs, comedy shows, mime shows and skits, all aimed at celebrating the teachers' dedication and contributions to the school.
In the afternoon, the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) organized a special celebration, expressing their gratitude to the teaching staff. The PTA’s involvement added a personal touch to the day, making the teachers feel even more appreciated for their hard work and commitment to nurturing young minds.
